Seeko'o Hôtel
france, Bordeaux (added: 15/03/2016)

The complete opposite of the « old France » seen in other establishments, the Seeko’o (pronounced « seek-o ») is the least typical hotel of Bordeaux.

When heading from Place des Quinconces towards Garonne and the hangars district where a row of popular restaurants stand proud, it suddenly comes into view, rather it surges up: this magnificent iceberg clad in Corian (1,000 m2), with its immaculate white that tinges pink as the sun sets. In a sort of beautiful paradox, the contemporary part exalts the blonde stone and architecture of the Enlightenment period of the historic district of Chartrons, and vice versa. Since it first opened in 2007, the Seeko’o, conceived by the Bordeaux architectural firm « King Kong », has had reams of ink written about it.

Today, the Seeko’o is recognised as an integral part of Bordeaux architecture and has become synonymous of the city’s opening up towards the modern.

Hotel Joyce - Astotel
france, Paris (added: 05/03/2016)

Standing at an unconventional spot of the upper 9th district, the Joyce Hotel is ideally located at the crossroads of the theater district, Place St-Georges, and the "hot-spots" of the fashionable So-Pi* neighborhood

Maliciously decorated by Philippe Maidenberg, with nods to inevitable Parisian monuments, our hotel will seduce you with its comfort and bold design.

Luxury car furniture recycled as improvised seats, inverted Eiffel Tower, delicate tromple-l' oeil paintings around beds, breakfast with bio breads and cereals under a very Eiffel-like glass roof: Everything is ready to usher you into a fun and surprising world.

Our 44 rooms are full of thoughtful and delicate touches that add to the cosiness of the place. All rooms feature a quiet atmosphere, strengthened in some cases with a terrace or an enchanting view over the rooftops.

FABRIC Hotel Paris is located on the rue de la Folie-Méricourt, between the Place de la Republique and the Place de la Bastille, in the 11th district of the capital. In the 19th century an industrial area developed around the rue Oberkampf and the former hamlet of Ménilmontant. A place of arts and crafts workshops during the day, this new artisan district became transformed after nightfall into a place of bustling bars and cabarets where the tired labourers and craftsmen could relax and prepare themselves for another busy day. The Hotel FABRIC, housed in a former textile factory, draws inspiration for its design and theme from this colourful past.
